How Do I Use Direct To Film Transfers?

Using direct to film transfers is actually very easy.

Remove the transfer from the packaging, inspect for any damages that may have occurred in transit.

Simply place on the garment/item where you would like, place the pressing paper on top and heat press at 285-315F for 15-20 seconds with heavy pressure. Allow transfer to cool for 15-30 seconds then remove the film in a smooth fluid motion pulling from one corner in a sideways/downward motion. You can also allow the transfer to cool entirely if you would like.

Once the carrier film has been removed, simply place the pressing paper over the design and press again with the same temperature and time interval previously used in the first step, again with very heavy pressure.

That's it! You will now have a printed garment that will last wash after wash without cracking, peeling, or fading if the above directions were followed. We have wash tested these for 50+ washes without any signs of wear.

A good indication that you used enough pressure, you can usually see the "fabric" lines in the finished transfer when you look very closely.
